Geography Photos offers Rights Managed Stock images for both Personal/Education and Publishing use. The site is owned by Ian Murray, a former geography teacher, author, and adviser who is now a freelance photographer. With Ian's education background he is interested in promoting the use of photos in geography education. Recognition of the value of this was given through a Geographical Association award in 2005. At that time Geography Photos operated on a subscription basis, now all images are individually priced for both low cost internal school use and also for use by publishers in books, magazines and so on. As the site name suggests my interest is mainly in places and people. But my overriding interest is in photography so I often cross subject boundaries. My interest mainly is in authentic, illustrative images recording what is real in I hope an accurate and interesting way. My images have been published all around the world in newspapers, books and magazines.
